When? Arrival time at the airport
Are you the worrier who is already at the gate 4 hours early, or more the sprinter who dives onto the plane just before they close? Relax: you don’t have to run a marathon or camp out for hours. The ideal arrival time? About 2 hours before departure. That gives you enough time to check in, get through security and maybe even grab a coffee. Earlier really isn’t necessary (you’ll just be waiting around) and later… well, we strongly advise against it.
What? Important documents
Passport, ID card, boarding pass… check, check, check! Always put your most important papers in your hand luggage or handbag, so you don’t have to dig around between your flip-flops and sunglasses. Flying outside Europe? Then don’t forget your international passport and visa! 🕔
Hand luggage: what to watch out for
Every airline has its own rules, so always check your ticket or booking info. Usually your hand luggage may be max. 55 x 40 x 20 cm.🧳
Oh, and be careful what you bring! Sharp objects such as razor blades are not allowed in your hand luggage. But no stress: with our safety razor you can shave your legs baby-soft at home.
