The new year is just around the corner, and we all know what that means: time for good resolutions! How great would it be if your resolution not only benefits your home, but also the planet? We would love to be your partner in crime to make cleaning plastic-free and fun!

In the laundry room
Your laundry room is the place where you can easily apply sustainable cleaning. With these practical tips you can keep both your clothes and your washing machine in top shape and contribute to a plastic-free future.
1. Never use too much detergent – avoid laundry lice
Using too much detergent can lead to laundry lice: a smelly, greasy layer that remains in the rubber, loading tray and door of your washing machine. This is not only bad for your machine, but also for your clothes.
TIP: Choose BRAUZZ. washing strips , a pre-dosed, ecological detergent. No more mess and always the right dosage, eazzy peazzy!
2. Deep clean your washing machine every 2 months
A thorough cleaning will help your washing machine last longer and keep your clothes clean. Follow this checklist to make your machine as good as new:
✅ Check and clean the filter at the bottom
✅ Clean the loading tray
✅ Remove dirt from the rubber inside
✅ Wipe the door edges well
✅ Start a boil wash at 90°C with a dishwasher tablet if necessary
Clean machine = clean clothes!
Make your washing routine truly sustainable with these small adjustments.

In the kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of your home, but also a place where dirt and odors can quickly accumulate. With a few simple tips, you can remove unpleasant odors. Here are two must-dos for a clean and fresh kitchen!
1. Deep clean your dishwasher every 3 months
A clean dishwasher is essential for a well-functioning machine and sparkling clean dishes. Food residues and dirt quickly accumulate in the filter and pipes, so timely cleaning is key!
Checklist for a deep clean:
✅ Clean the dishwasher filter thoroughly
✅ Remove the racks and clean them
✅ Wipe the door edges and loading area clean
✅ Start an intensive program at 75°C
TIP: Use an all-in-one dishwasher tablet and avoid using extra salt.
2. Troubled by unpleasant odors? Use a dishwasher tab!
Accumulated grease and dirt in the sink are often the culprits behind nasty odors. Luckily, there is an eazzy peazzy solution!
In 3 easy steps:
1️⃣ Place a dishwasher tab in the sink
2️⃣ Pour warm water over it
3️⃣ Repeat this until the tab is completely dissolved
For a permanently fresh kitchen, we recommend cleaning the sink in this way once a month.
TIP: No dishwasher tab at home? No problem! Coffee odors also work great to neutralize odors and grease.

In the bathroom
The bathroom is the place where you start and end your daily routine. But nothing is as annoying as a shower head that doesn’t spray powerfully or a toilet brush that collects more bacteria than you’d like. Luckily, with a few eazzy peazzy tips, you can keep your bathroom fresh and hygienic, all in a sustainable, brauzzing way!
1. Less powerful running water? Descale your shower head!
Do you notice that the water is flowing less powerfully from your shower head or tap? There is a good chance that limescale is the cause. Limescale settles in the small holes of your shower head and thus obstructs the water flow. Time to descale!
In 3 eazzy peazzy steps:
1️⃣ Mix vinegar and water in a plastic bag
2️⃣ Attach the bag around the shower head or faucet
3️⃣ Let the mixture work for at least 30 minutes
TIP: Use our BRAUZZ. bathroom cleaner to quickly and easily descale surfaces. It is environmentally friendly and of course powerful!
2. Keep your toilet brush bacteria-free
The toilet brush may not be your favorite cleaning tool, but it is a breeding ground for bacteria. A weekly cleaning is therefore essential to keep your bathroom hygienic.
Here's how to clean your toilet brush in 3 eazzy peazzy steps:
1️⃣ Add a dose of BRAUZZ toilet cleaner to the toilet
2️⃣ Let the cleaner dissolve and place the toilet brush in the foam. Let this work for 1 hour
3️⃣ Clamp the brush between the toilet seat and the bowl, pour hot water over it to rinse thoroughly. Repeat this a few times for a very dirty brush.
Result: a clean, bacteria-free toilet brush in no time!
