Secret Santa promotion: the ideal Christmas gift to support a good cause

Secret Santa actie: het ideale kerstgeschenk waarmee je het goede doel steunt

BRAUZZ. is not only bringing sustainability under the Christmas tree with its Secret Santa campaign. It is also fighting to support up to 1000 families with the washing strips by 25 December. In this way, they are drawing attention to hygiene poverty in Flanders and the Netherlands.

From December 9 to 25, BRAUZZ will be selling special Secret Santa bundles : where she donates a box of washing strips - good for 32 sustainable washes - to the charity, De Voedselbanken. Together with the community, they aim to donate at least 1000 boxes by Christmas, good for 32,000 sustainable washes.

Fighting hygiene poverty together

According to the WHO, one in four families struggles with a lack of hygiene and care products such as detergent, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc. Food banks, which focus on combating poverty and hygiene poverty, make a big difference in this regard.

According to Marcha, a volunteer at the Food Banks, donations such as detergent are essential: “Detergent is extremely expensive and often difficult to get in stock. The washing strips are a new way of washing for many people, but we will be happy to explain to them how they work.”

Lotte from team BRAUZZ. spoke to the team of volunteers during an afternoon of food distribution:

“What struck me immediately was the positive energy. All the volunteers and passers-by are so warm-hearted and there is a very friendly atmosphere.”

“If there is one thing that has stuck with me, it is that everyone can end up here. Not just the poorest of society , as many people think. Poverty is not something you choose, it happens to you.” Lotte from team BRAUZZ.

Together we have one common goal: 1000 boxes of wax strips

We hope to support up to 1000 families with this campaign . This means a donation of 1000 boxes of wax strips - good for a total of 32,000 sustainable washes . These eco-friendly wax strips are compact, easy to use and now also perfect to introduce people to a sustainable alternative.

“It is our mission to make sustainability accessible to everyone. With this donation we reach the families who do not come into contact with eco-products so quickly because sustainability is simply not a priority yet,” says Lowie, CEO of BRAUZZ.

For this action, BRAUZZ. is working together with the non-profit organisation Gent Samen Solidair , which can count on a load of washing strips. This non-profit organisation reaches up to 5008 individuals per year in the Ghent region alone, via 6 volunteer organisations.

In addition, De Voedselbanken Rotterdam , the Netherlands, can also count on support from BRAUZZ. This operation consists of 100% volunteers and reaches up to 2000 households in Rotterdam. 'But you have to know that many households are added every week, so our work is really necessary', says Marcha, volunteer at the Voedselbanken Rotterdam.

A call to everyone: choose an impactful gift under the Christmas tree

BRAUZZ. invites everyone to participate in this Secret Santa campaign and help families in need together. With every purchase of a Secret Santa bundle, consumers not only provide a sustainable Christmas gift, but also contribute to a cleaner and fairer world.
